Review: Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

I was looking to download some new books on my kindle the other day and stubbled upon Fifty Shades of Grey. Well not so much as stumbled since its number one on amazons best seller list at the moment. I had many reservations. I looked at reviews on various sites and it mostly had just 3 stars! I am sure you've all heard its very...sexual. Well I decided to buy it and see what was so awful about this book myself. To be honest I loved it. I've read many books with sexual parts in them. I don't understand the big hype over it. There is sex scenes in almost every adult movie now-a-days. What makes it so wrong to write one in a  book? Its a book about and young woman names Anastasia. She is graduating college and moving to a different city when she meets Christian a rich handsome millionaire who she basically sparks with. They have a not so normal relationship though. Christian is a man who enjoys different kinds of sexual activities. Anastasia is trying to decide if she can put up with these sexual activities while staying true to herself.

E.L. James is a beautiful writer. His writing is so descriptive and in great detail.  People are just focusing on the sex scenes and I will warn you there are quite a few of those but its not just their sexual relationship.

I enjoyed reading this book. Its definitively a book that keeps you on your toes. I was in such a rush to read it and see how things ended up. I was disappointed with the ending. I felt like there was so much more that should have happened first!! I am purchasing the second and third book tonight for my kindle and will probably be doing nothing but reading for a few days.

I recommend you read this book and see for yourself if you really like it because you will hear a lot of bad things and good things about this book.

Review : Shattered by Sophia Sharp

Shattered is the first installment of the Dream Realms Trilogy by Sophia Sharp. I recently bought all the books for my kindle touch and have been in love with them! I finished the book in about a day, it's literally that good! Shattered is about a young girl named Laura who lives a normal, comfortable life until her high school gets a mysterious new student named Logan. Laura eventually becomes friends with Logan and he shows her his secret which puts them both in great danger. Shattered is the type of book that keeps you guessing whats going to happen next. You will fall in love with the characters and the story line. I highly recommend this book to you if you enjoy YA books or fantasy novels.
